I installed a CS2011 Remote Start on my car, and I'm having trouble entering its programming mode. I have the ign ON and pushed the button five times, but i'm not getting a response. I was thinking of going to radio shack and buying a new push button switch to replace it. any other ideas?

what type of switch would i even look for?

Thanks

Some require that the door be open in prog mode... Also test the switch before you buy another one!!!

Make sure that the door trigger wire is connected properly. As alarmpro said some alarms require that the door be open in order to enter program mode.

The cs-2011 requires the hood to be open to program, or to ground the blue hood pin wire if you don't have it hooked up.
