Hey guys new guy and need some help

Late last night my alarm crap the bed after trying to turn the key something went and the alarm stays armed. Theres no valet button or anything.

Conclusion made was that we have to find whatever powers the kill switch so I can at least get my car started again since its just sitting.

Heres the info

Car - 1989 Ford Mustang 5.0

Alarm - Chapman Alarms - FCC: GOH-MM8-101890 / DOC:1409 K791

if anyone knows where I can find a wiring diagram for this alarm that would be great

you need to find the main unit and unplug the wiring harnesses.....see if that will allow the car to start...

we found a unit that switches on it but once removed nothing changed.

This it possible that theres a whole differ unit for the kill switch?

Unplugging the brains main harness wil NOT release the starter kill relay....You need to find the starter wire, and put it back together. It should be WHITE/ pink! Take the starter kill relay out and reconect the starter wire

where exactly can I find those wires in the bay or under the dash?

They should be under the dash in the wires running to the ign switch.

Wouldn't it suck if all that was wrong was the starter solenoid? Or worse the starter was bad?

I dont think thats the deal cause it was fine all day then when I went to start the car it did what a bulb does when it goes that whole flash then nothing.

It just stays armed no matter what and the little module thing that recieves the signal from the remote like buzz's and such
