I am going to be getting a 791xv alarm in my 05 Silverado soon...do you have any recomendations on what I should add?

I know I'm gonna get:
Window Roll-up/Down
Tilt Sensor (I guess there are two types one goes off a lot if parked on a hill and the other is "smarter"..I ordered the "smarter" one)
Piezzo Siren
And an additional remote
(passkey for remote start also)

I don't think I want a microwave sensor cause I hear they always have false alarms
Should I get another shock sensor? or more Piezzo Sirens (I thoguht about getting two or more)?
Also, I thought about having him hook cheap strobes into the alarm to get people's attention when the alarm went off, but the more I think about it that's probably bad attention? ? ?
Should I get one of those hood pins / mercury sensors? or should I get a Glass Break sensor?
The guy at the alarm place sorta talked me outta backup battery because the alarm sensors will go off if he gets under the hood to kill the battery and that anymore with how packed the engine compartments are you can't do much from underneath...is this good logic?

Any other suggestions? (I'd appreciate them)

Maybe I should add a backup battery?

How does this pricing sound: (it's installed pricing from a Viper dealer)

500 Alarm
120 Window Up/Down
50 PassKey
20 Piezzo
50 Tilt Sensor
100 Extra LCD Remote programmed
= 840

Loose the tilt(useless IMO) and piezzo(will interfere with glassbreak) and add a BUB or BUB siren and glass break sensor.

Your guy is stupid if he thinks a BUB is worthless. I would give a professional thief less then 5 seconds between opening the door and cutting the battery. This is NOT an exageration. You should also be bargaining with him, those prices are kinda high.

I agree. pop the hood, pull the battery = five seconds till the alarm is off. ouch.

I have the 791xv right now and I think I'm going to get the BUB for it.

now I need to find where to get it posted_image
