Hello,

I am installing a remote start on a 1998 rav4, and need to bypass the clutch switch using the remote start. Now, before people start to tell me the reasons not to do it, I need to say that this remote start IS manual transmission safe. Can someone tell me how to hook up the brain to the switch to bypass the clutch safety while remote starting?

You need to find the starter wire from the ignition switch. The remote start starter wire has to be connected on the other side of the clutch switch (between the starter and the clutch switch at the pedal).
