I haven't ever had any probs with the F150s.  Do they even have the GEM module?

I just did an 05 this past weekend.  No GEM!

sorry about that,  new at this... i just had a new avital put in and it is doing the same thing the old alarm was doing. 5-20 min after i park and arm the alarm goes off with nothing around. I read about the GEM and ran the test. I locked the door while it was open, shut it came back 20 min later reached threw the window and the power locks worked, i guess i dont have that. The alarm just went off again after sitting for 60min with no problem, any ideas would be greatly welcome, i am $300 into what i thought was going to be $150-$200 alarm with the adding of new parts and trouble shooting this company is doing tring to fix this alarm  thanks kyle

What zone is going off?  door, trunk, or shock?

BLACK/ blue wire at the keyless module high in the dr. kick is the door trigger.  You have to have the key on to test that wire usually though.  There is a BLACK / YELLOW wire in kick that tests as door trigger, but will do what u are saying it does.

gem module----diode----(heres the avital door trigger input)-----door switch

there should be a bunch of these questions ask frequently. for more detail, use the search button.

do the double diode trick.....one in line with the door pin wire, and one in line with the trigger wire from your unit!
