Hi Everyone,

I want to add trunk trigger to Clifford Cyber 2 alarm in my 1995 Toyota Camry LE V6 4 door. How can I run a trunk trigger wire from dashboard to trunk light switch? There is no obvious hole between trunk floor and rear passenger compartment. Also, how can I remove the edge covers along door openning and carpet?

By the way, since Clifford Cyber 2 does not seem to have a separate trunk trigger sensing input, I'll tap trunk trigger wire from trunk light switch to door trigger input of Cyber 2. I don't need a diode at the tapping point, do I?

How does trunk light switch work in 1995 Camry? It is negative trigger, isn't it? Does negative trigger mean that when the trunk is open, the switch makes contact to ground to turn on trunk light?

Thank you very much for all your help.

Well you kind answered your own question.  You run the wire underneath the plastic molding on the door opening.  They pop out (have clips).  The first piece is also connected to the driver kick panel so you may have to take that out too (it is super easy).  I got Camry too (98) (I think the plastics are similar) and just ran RCAs, remote wire, power and 4 set of 18GA speaker wire last night.  Plenty of room in mine.  I was able to run the RCA and 4 set of wires on on side.  Use the plastic clip to run the wire next to the factoy wire and zip ties.
