i just insalled a GM factory security system...................model vsc 3400. the control unit provides a white wire for passive armimg, the white wire provdes a -200 Ma.should this wire be conected to the lt blue wire at the fuse box ? i have the relay to convert + to - .this a 2002 chevy z71 p/u

No, it sounds like your white wire is a "active when armed output". The only thing you use this wire for is to power a relay. By the way , what blue wire are you talking about?

I've checked my GM security systems manuals and the only white wires (possible 2) are for a negative door trigger and courtesy light output. I think its for the courtesy light, you don't need it, but you''ll need a relay if you want to use it. Anyways, no matter what it is DON'T RUN IT too the blue wire, if anything it would go to the other white wire that runs to the door pin.
