Hi Everyone,

My Clifford Cyber 2 (same as Clifford Polaris 4) does not have a separate trunk trigger input. I'll hook up trunk trigger wire to door trigger input of Cyber 2. Do I need a diode between door trigger and trunk trigger? If yes, which way should the band on diode go to?

By the way, is trunk light switch in 1995 Toyota Camry negative trigger? Does negative trigger mean that when the trunk is open, the switch makes contact to ground (= 0 volt) to turn on trunk light?

Thank you all.

Not require. It will be NEGATIVE.

Reference to which way the diode should face. Read the note here. I am sure you will figure it out when you are done reading it.

Tied in with the door trigger on the wagon models.

Trunk/Hatch Pin RED / white    -   light or sw. in trunk
