can someone actually tell me where a + wire for the parking lights is located on this vehicle, lookin the driver kick panel doesn't help since there are 2 brown wires and the one doesn't put out 12v and the other brown wire is on a airbag connecter which im sure as heck not touchin, any help would be greatly appreciated

What about trying your luck on the negative side of the parking light instead. The infomation that I got is listed below.

Parking Lights- gray/black - switch or BCM, brown plug, pin B2

GMC, SIERRA, 2005, Parking Lights-
The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver side dash. It has 6 plugs in it, the purple plug is on the back.

i would have to throw in a relay then, which sucks cus the unit is capable of powerin up the lights without a relay but only on the + side
