my siren stopped working a few months ago. should i remove the siren and stick the siren (+) wire to the battery (+) terminal and stick the siren (-) to the battery (-) terminal?

So I have finally tested it out. I was able to hear sounds from the siren but the sound volume was extremely low. It sounded like the siren was going to die. Is that normal?

I have my ground wire connected to (-) of the battery. I did that because my previous simple alarm used (-) battery. Do you folks think the ground wire is causing the problem? Or does it mean the out put from the alarm is fried. What do you folks recommend to do next? check the output?

Yes, I disconnected the battery. I connected the 2 wires from the alarm straight to the battery. When you said it is bad but normal, what do you mean?

w did you test the siren? If you took the wires loose from the alarm and took the wires straight to the battery and it did not sound loud then it is bad. That is kind of normal.

I’m hearing a normal multi siren sounds. It sounds like the same when it was first installed but the volume of the sound is extremely low. It sounded like I have a die battery and I know it’s not the battery.

I have an 8 year old siren from Clifford that makes a single tone sound. Is it compatible?
