after doing a quick search, I found that it is the lt GREEN/ red and brown red wires that need to be hooked to the alarm. My unit has 6 pins:
white - unlock NC
brown - unlock COM
Yellow - unlock NO
blue - lock NC
Orange - lock COM
Purple - lock NO
Diagram says to use brown and purple. Cut white and blue and ground yellow and purple. I tried it and it doesn't work. Diagram 2 says to hook yellow and purple to 12V. Didn't work. I don't want to think that my alarm is defective after installing it. HEEEEELLLLPPPPP.
Your alarmis NOT defective
white is 87a, brown is 30, yellow is 87. These represent pin connections on a standard relay. blue, orange, purple are in the same order as above. The relays are controlled internally. no pin 85, or 86.....K.
You need to hook yellow and purple to GRND. Then brown to your BROWN / red disarm-unlock wire on your rig. And orange to your lt.GREEN/ red arm-lock wire. Set your alarm for double pulse on unlock, the first pulse will disarm ONLY, the second will unlock.

thanks. About the relay, it came from an 8 pin harness from the alarm together with the wires going to the siren, door trigger etc. I'm guessing this harness is for the engine shut-off. 86 went to "on" 87a went to "start". 85 went to the harness. Where do I hook 30?
I tried your suggesed diagram for the door locks but didn't work. Xplore xr-7025 doesn't say anything about double pulse. The ordinary alarms I installed before had double pulse. Any other remedy?

The manual doesn't say anything about double pulse. Do I assume that the alarm has double pulse?
