I have a Viper 791XV installed on my 94 Honda Civic. However, i tried to install the starter disable but it doesn't seem to work. I've connected the purple wire from the satellite relay to the starter side (blk/wht wire) and the green wire to the ignition side (blk/wht wire). Also everything else is connected except the secondary ignition wire (pink/white) and the orange wire on the relay isn't connected. Would this be the problem to the starter disable not working? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I cut the blk/wht wire and soldered the purple to the starter side and then the green to the key side. When the alarm is triggered, I could still start the car.
