I recently installed a compustar alarm with CM3000 brain along with 530t wondow module. when I tried to roll up the windows by arming the system. the windows wont go up. It only goes up when I turn of the ignition. What I dont understand is if the violet wire is a "ground when armed" wire, why does it become a ground as soon as the ignition is turned off? I removed the relay for the strater kill/ antigrind, and the violet wire remains grounded even with the alram unarmed. Im totally confused. I read somewhere on here about hooking up a diode but still doesnt make any sense if the ground is oming straight from the CM3000 brain. Thanks for any help!

Sorry if I didnt make it clear. Ok, the "ground when armed" wire on the computer is violet. I took the orange wire of the 530T and tied it in with the "ground when ared" wire (violet of the compustar. The problem is, as soon as I turn the ignition off, the windows roll up because the 530T is recieving a ground signal from the compustar even though the compustar is not armed. Also, when I arm the system, the windows wont go up.

I've had this problem with compustars before the easiest solution is get a pulse time relay and wire to lock wire

I was able to solve this by putting a diode in line with the violet wire, it was getting a ground back from the relay coil, thus closing the windows.
