Hi. I am doing an alarm on a 92 Mustang with power door locks. The only thing I am having trouble with is the power door locks. I did a five wire with a 451m and it didn't work. I tried several other ways and still couldn't get it to work. The relay clicks, but there is nothing that happens with the doors. Can anyone help me?

Did the Door Switch work after you cut the wires & hooked them to the 451m?
Make sure you have cut the right wires and the Door Switch wire & Lock wires are not reversed.

Power Lock	pink / YELLOW	5wi	either kick panel
Power Unlock	pink/green	5wi	either kick panel

yes....had full functionality at the door switch when the 451m was connected, no functionality when it was not...........tryed another 451m just incase and still had the same problem.

is there another way other than a common 5 wire for power lock and unlock in the older fords?
