i think my unlock output wire is non functioning on my compustar system. i hear clicking but doors doesnt unlock. i was wondering if substituting one of the accessory output wire is a good option? i think it should puts out the same voltage.

sorry not familiar with compustar but if you have a transmitter that unlocks it will not work with the unlock button if the unlock wire is not used. to test wire. put red lead of voltmeter on 12v and the black lead to the unlock output wire and press the button if 12v reads on meter then wire is functioning and you may have the wrong unlock wire.

test it if it is broke try an aux i deally see it one of the aux can be programmed to pulse when unarmed this would be the same. dunno weather compustar supports this feature though
