I bought a alarm off ebay and trying to install it by my self as a little project.

Anyone know that do I need to disconnect the battery and disable the SRS as well?

I bought a HT-455 alarm and found out a lot goog infomation from this forum and thanks before have the answer.

With the battery diisconnected, how u gonna test the wires?

Keep away from yellow loom wire. Use a digital mulitimeter instead of a test light will keep you out of trouble.
