Do I need to use the door lock module if I use the relays and resistors or does that module replace the need for the relays and resistors?

I use relays and resistors, but that's up to you. What ever you feel comfortable with use that one. At the end of the day your only concern is getting it to work. posted_image

Relays and Resistors worked like a champ. thanks.... but I have a new problem

posted_image

I used the tan/red and tan wires to connect to my (-) input door trigger on my alarm.

The system false alarms every time because the voltage drops from 12V when the door imidiatly closed to 3.5V a few secons after the door is closed.

My alarm doesn't recognize that 3.5V meens the doors are still secure.

I was wondering if you knew why the voltage drop like that and what can I do to fix the problem? posted_image

Thats what I figured the solution would be. the question was more geared toward my curiosity as to why the damn voltage drops... LOL

hopefully that wire doesn't drop in voltage either.
