I have recently installed a remote start/entry into an '05 Chevy Impala using Crimestopper's RS-GMATA II Passlock II bypass module.  Everything works fine, the car starts & runs, door locks lock & unlock, trunk opens, etc. but the customer tells me that the 'Service Engine Light' comes on whenever he uses the remote start to start the car.  I have replaced the bypass module, thinking maybe it's a bad one, but the problem continues.  Anybody run into this before?  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Sounds like you either missed a required ignition/accessory wire, or incorrectly connected the park lights. If you use the white (-) for park lights without isolating from the BCM it will throw the service light.
