I have been having problems w/ the passenger side door lock.  When I use my remote to open - sometimes the passenger side would lock/unlock like it was supposed to & sometimes it would go half way (either up or down) and now it does nothing at all, but you can hear it clicking!  Well, now the driver side is doing the same thing - I'm guessing because it is the "Master" of the locks it is keeping my back doors from unlocking.  I am having to hold the handle up on the drivers side to lock the doors manually (because of the safety setting Honda has on that model that won't allow you to lock the drivers side door) but I can use the lock/unlock switch on the drivers side door panel to lock/unlock the back doors (passenger door won't unlock unless you use key or unlock manually from the inside).  It is really a big pain to have to go through this ritual to lock and unlock my car - so much that I only drive it when I have to!  I hate it!  Honda says they've never heard of this problem and that I should let them look at it, but I thought I would exhaust other efforts before I take it to them - I am hoping that I don't get ripped off.  I have even purchased all the TSB sheets for this model hoping to find help, but no luck:(!!!  I would appreciate any advice on what I could do?! Thanks So Much!

Christa

Thanks  - I'll have someone look at it.  After reading about actuators - that sounds like what it is.posted_image  I just didnt want to go to a mechanic completely clueless if he is taking advantage of me or not.  At least I'll have some knowledge before going in!  Thanks again!
