Question is will the 456g derive door trigger for me through databus, or should I follow directwire and go to the doors mods and bcm?

I know this is a late response hopefully your install went smooth and you've already figured it out. For future reference the 456G will not provide door trigger from databus wire. You must connect the gray/black wire on the 456G to the domelight circuit, usually gray/black also (if not at an underdash light I can usually find this wire running up the driver's side A pillar post in all the fullsize trucks and SUV's). The dark green wire of the 456G then becomes your (-) door trigger output to your alarm. No need to run separate door trigger wires.
