I have a 2001 honda accord manual transmission EX model, and i'm intalling a compustar cm3000 brain. I have everything working except the remote start. I have everything installed keyless entry, trunk release window roll up and down but dont know how to wire the remote start. I have the constant n ignitions wired up and i also have my bypass module installed. I have the orange wire from the bypass hooked up to RED / black on cn2 i hope is rite, what i don't know how to hook up is the other wires from cn1 this is my first remote start system and any help would be appreciated
Post what you have connected in more details I maybe able to help you. I have done one or two of these install before. The more details you can include in your questions the better.
You will need to connect the door trigger wire. You will need to connect the bypass. The starter has to be in reservation mode in order for it to work probably. Tach wire, brake wire, status wire, etc.........

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.

your by pass wire should be hooked to cn2-3 green ign output. the red and black will only give you an output to turn starter over and then turn off once the car is running the green wire will stay on the whole time fromwhen the car starts until it turns off. hope this helps
hey thanks for the replys i got the remote start to work today. I had the green wire on cn-1 to the correct accesory wire and i also had to wire the WHITE/ black on cn2 to the relay so i could get a accesory to turn the car on. how my question is do i have to bypass the clutch even though the compustar is made for manual transmission. i thought i wouldnt have to bypass it, i still have to put it in reservation mode in order for it to work.
the only reason you would have to by pass clutch is if you have to push the clutch in to start the car
