I have a 2002 grand am with a viper 791xv and I am trying to work out the lock unlock scheme. I know that I need to tie the white wire at the bcm to ground for lock, and the same wire to ground through a 1500ohm resistor for unlock. With the viper, there is a green - lock, + unlock wire, as well as a blue + lock, - unlock wire.

are there any good diagrams for this setup? are there any relays/diodes needed for this setup?

Thanks in advance.

The BLUE wire from Viper goes to 1.5 ( 1500)ohm Resistor then to WHITE wire on G.A.
The GREEN wire from Viper goes to WHITE wire on G.A. also.
You may need Relays to supply stronger Ground if that doesn't work.

Do you think diodes are needed so it doesn't send power up the other wire?

Single wire lock/unlock system.
