cannot figure out how to do the 5 wire. looked at relay section of the 12volt web site, followed it and it did not work can someone please help me?

i am installing a viper system with 2 wire negative lock output

You need 2 SPDT RELAYS:
Cut wires of Vehicles Door Lock / UNLock in half.
One half goes to Door Lock / UNLock Actuator
One half goes to Door Lock / UNLock switch
Follow directions and DON'T get wires wrong.

ALSO:  Make sure you get Single Pole Double Throw  ( SPDT )Relays.  Some relays look like SPDT but are SPST.

2 SPDT RELAYS:

Relay 1

LOCK:
PIN 87 = Light BLUE wire from Door Lock Actuator
PIN 87a = Light BLUE wire from Door Lock Switch
PIN 30 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from Viper
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

Relay 2

UNLOCK:
PIN 87 = BLACK/ WHITE or WHITE  wire from Door Lock Actuator
PIN 87a = BLACK/ WHITE or WHITE wire from Door Lock Switch
PIN 30 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 85 = Negative UNLock Output from Viper
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

Power LockLT BLUEDRV SPEAKER OR DRIVER KICK PANEL
Power UnlockBLACK/ WHITE OR WHITE

Reversal Rest At Ground Door Locks
