how do you know what interface or moduel you need with a databus system i have never fitted one before any info on this would be much apriciated

There are many different application that use the databus so we need to know what year, make & model vehicle this is for as well as what you are intending to do. If we can get this information, we can help you figure out what needs to be done. Application of the databus has changed over the years so a newer system is encoded differently than the earlier models.

thank you for that info i am not connecting anything yet but i will most probably need to know if and what one i will need to put in a vauxhall astra 2003 model it is the coupe version but they should have the same wiring as the other ones

its a system that uses different type signals to operate many things in car instead of just a direct supply to one thing different coded signals can operate loads of things in a car

Not sure about a keyless bypas system available for this vehicle. YOu may need to use the universal bypass module for remote start purposes. ------------- Jeff

it aint a remote start system going on the vehicle i just need to know if im going to have trouble with door locks
