ok, this is my first time and attempt ever to hook up an alarm. and truthfully, it's a lot more complicated than i thought, but i'm intent on doing this myself since everything i have accomplished on this car, i pretty much learned, and did myself. including motor swap, and audio. with my last system getting jacked, before i put in my new one, i purchased a autoloc alarm. where should the module be placed? do i simply connect whatever color wire on the schematics i received with the alarm to whatever wires on the car? where should proxy and back up be hooked up? and this system comes with remote start. does remote start really work on a manual??

Place the module up high on the driver's side dash or if you have room in the passengerside dash. Anywhere is good where it's hard to get to and see.

Yes and always check with a DMM the wires from the wiring diagram to ensure that the color and the wire that you have is the correct one before hooking up.

Prox sensor should be hooked up in the middle of the vehicle and the back up should be hooked up anywhere where it is hidden from view.

Only if it's designed to work on the manual transmission vehicles with a safety ready mode to ensure that hte car is in nuetral. If this is not a manual tranny safe unit, DO NOT hook up the system to the car.
