I am having trouble locating this wire in my 2002 grand am for my viper remote start/security system. Where excatly is it located and how can I check to see If I have the correct wire?

I got DOME supervision as white - located at dash light or column.

Thanks, but I have already seen those wiring charts, But I am still having some trouble pinpointing the wire.  What is a good way to test to see if i have the right one?

get your multimeter set it for 20V DC.  Strip the wire a bit with razor blade.  Put red lead of meter on the stripped wire, black lead on car chasi (any bare metal).  When the dome light is on you should se ~12V (then turn the dome light off) with the light off there should be 0V going through.  Not sure if you got aligator clips but they are tremenouds help when working with a meter ($2 at WalMart).
