i have an old civic with a god-knows-how-old Black Widow system in it.... the transmitters both took a dump so i got a new code-alarm system on ebay. I was wondering since the black widow has already been installed, can i find an adapter anywhere to plug the black widow harness (for its brain) into the code alarm brain? (so i won't have to rewire everything?)

do they make such a thing? or will i have to rewire it off the old harness?

thanks!

I've never heard of such a harness.

the closest thing i've heard of doing is to get a diagram of the old alarm and just connect the old wires to the new alarm... I wouldn't trust someone else's connections in the first place seeing as how screwed up one of my car's wiring harness got. But that's up to you.

Cut off the wire harness from the old system by leaving yourself about 4 inches for each wire and then re-attach the new B.W. harness.
