i need help can someone walk me thru how do i add my second remote to the car since i forgot and the alarm has been reinstalled on my new car evrything is working fine although i want my backup remote to work and i have forgotten how do i set it up

ok well i found this info out
Programming instructions:
Turn key on, hit valet button 8 times, press a ninth time and hold. Siren chirps 8 times....hit lock on remote. Release valet button.

i just did this however now the other remote when pressing any of the keys it does not respond but i press any keys on the other remote the lcd on the remote i want to program as the second works it shows lock and unlock any ideas and by the way so i dont get anyone confused my spare remote is the white one from the old 790xv. i know on my other car it was compatible with the 791xv but now that the alarm has been reinstalled on my new car i need to get this old remote to work with the new one. posted_image

open one door

turn the ing on

press valet switch twice and keep it pressed on the second one, you will hear two siren chirps

then press the lock button on the remote, you will hear the confirmation chirp from the siren

turn the ing off
