my door locks on my 2001 ford focus stop working after my alarm was taken out. all fuses look good,i know they are type B door locks so i try to ground them direct and nothing. could it be that i have to replace the keyless entry. it had a factory alarm which never worked and i just took out the aftermarket, so can anybody help me?

I think you may have cut your lock wires.

who installed and  took your alarm out??

if it was installed by someone who knows what they're doing they should be able to troubleshoot your problem and fix it in no time at all

it's just a ground trigger lock system so it's about as simple as it gets

so hopefully it's something stupid and easy???

you will need to connect up your keyless entry for this to work but still check all wiring aswell
