I installed a starter kill on a 1994 Suburban using this diagram and the problem I'm having is that the truck will not start when the alarm is disarmed, but will start when the truck is armed. Someting seems to be reversed. Any suggestions to correct this.

If that is indeed the relay setup your using and you wired exactly as shown, there is only one thing to check... Your ground when armed wire. Make sure when you arm your alarm that wire shows ground. Some alarms have a ground when unarmed wire.

Thats the problem, it shows ground when unarmed, but not when armed. How can I reverse this if it can be? Or is it just the way some alarms are setup.

if you put the stoarter on the 87 instead of 87a

Yeah, that should work. You will need a relay with the 87 pin. Alot of alarms that come with a relay don't have that pin. Move the wire from the 87a onto the 87.
