Yesterday my alarm started having problems it took me about two minutes to activate my alarm it was a combination of removing the battery from the remote and pressing the buttons a lot on it when I got off work it took about the same amount of work to get it to disarm. When I got home the remote would not even rearm the alarm it now just beeps like it is out of range even if I am just standing next to it. I have changed the battery in my remote so it’s not that. The alarm has been in the car for about 8 months with no problems. I have installed this alarm myself so the warranty is shot on it from DEI. Anyone have any suggestions on what to check.

I was also wondering so that I can get my alarm working for the time being can I add the 103T Key Pad to it to arm and disarm it.

Thanks in advance.
Brian

First try this...unplug the harness with 12volts in it for about 30 seconds. If that doesn't work try unplugging the antenna and plug it back in. My guess is if this doesn't work that your antenna is messed up. I've send one back because of the antenna. Try that and post the results.
