Hi Folks, I'm planning to install a Compustar 2WSS-AS alarm w/ remote start to my 02 Suburban, this is my first time installing an alarm but I have a lot of experience installing car audio, I just need a little guidence form you folks. What I want to do is add remote start to the burb, and hope to retain the factory alarm as well and have it arm and disarm with the compustar. I also want to keep drivers priority door locks and delayed dome light feature. Can you folks help me wire this up. This is what I have gathered for info so far can you please verify the wires and fill in the blanks for me Compustar CM3000 | 2002 Suburban | Pin | Color | Description | Wire | Location | 1 | Red | 12v Constant | Battery | | 2 | GREEN / WHITE | Power to Parking Light | Brown | BCM | 3 | RED / White | 12v Constant | Battery? | | 4 | White | 12 Output to Accessory | Orange | Ignition Harness | 5 | Violet | (-)200mA Output to Starter | Yellow | Ignition Harness | 6 | Yellow | 12v Output to Starter | Yellow | Ignition Harness | 7 | GREEN/ Red | 12v Output to Ignition | Pink | Ignition Harness | 8 | Black | Ground | | | | | | | | 1 | GREEN / WHITE | (-)200mA Light Output | White | BCM | 2 | Black | (-)200mA Status Output | ? | | 3 | Green | (-)200mA 2nd Ignition Output | White | Ignition Harness | 4 | WHITE/ Black | (-)200mA 2nd Accessory Output | | | 5 | RED / Black | (-)200mA 2nd Starter Output | | | | | | | | 1 | Light Blue | (-)Emergency Brake Input | | | 2 | Gray/Black | (-)Hood Pin Input | | | 3 | Lt Blue/White | (+)Brke Input | White | Brake Pedal Switch | 4 | Violet/Black | (-)Trunk Trigger Input | | | 5 | RED / White | (-)Door Trigger Input | Tan | | 6 | Red | (+)Door Trigger Input | | | 7 | BROWN / Black | (-)Glow Plug nput | | | 8 | BROWN / White | (+)Glow Plug Input | | | 9 | Yellow/Black | Alt/Tach Sensing Input | White | Valve Cover | | | | | | 1 | (x) | 12v Output | | | 2 | Violet/White | (-)200mA Trunk Output | | | 3 | ORANGE / Black | (-)200mA 2nd Unlock Output | | | 4 | Blue | (-)Unlock Output | White | Drivers Kick | 5 | Blue/Black | (-)Lock Output | Light Blue | Drivers Kick | 6 | (x) | Ground | | | | | | | | 1 | Orange | (-)200mA Rearm Output | | | 2 | ORANGE / White | (-)200mA Disarm Output | Lt Green | Drivers Kick | 3 | Violet | (-)200mA Dome Light Output | | | 4 | Brown | 12v Output to Siren | | | 5 | White | (-)200mA Horn Output | Black | BCM | 6 | Yellow | (-)200mA Aux 1 Output | | | 7 | Yellow/White | (-)200mA Aux 2 Output | | | 8 | (x) | Future Use | | |

Ok I got most of the wires figured out now but I still have a couple of questions. 1. Which is the best spot for Tach I have heard you can use the one on the instrument cluster, ECM, or on the coil, does it matter which one I use? I'd like to use the one on the instrument cluster is this good enough. 2. My alarm has a feature to simulate opening the door and pressing the factory lock button for factory re-arming, it basically suplies a negative pulse before Lock and a pulse after start. Does anyone know where do I attach this wire to re-arm the factory alarm. Thanks,

1. Doesn't matter which one , just use the one that will be easiest to access and is a clean signal. 2. Don't reall yneed this, your Compustar will be active when remote started anyway. ------------- Jeff

Ok I have found all the wires but one, I can't seem to locate the factory disarm wire. I tried the green wire in the violet BCM plug but that wire always shows 12V+ all the time when factory alarm is armed or disarmed is this right? Thanks,

Thanks for all the help Jeff and securinu. Kenny2002 the wiring diagram is pretty much listed in the 1st 3 columns above and it's also on the back of the alarm unit. There isn't much in the manual that really helps, The relays you have to fihure out yourself the manual says nothing about them, the one with the yellow wire is starter kill and the one with the blue is for accessory. I don't have the manual with me right now but I'll try to post it when I get the manual
