Hi. I just installed my Option Group LD 163-6C car alarm last year and everything worked fine until like 3weeks ago that it started to malfunction. my first remote can't trigger the on-off alarm set but sometimes it can trigger the 'locate car' and when i try to click the 'alarm-off' it wont do anything. sometimes too that i can set the alarm-on but when trying to alarm-off it again it won't do anything but the batteries are new and you can see the led in the remote shine brightly. i also tried the 2nd spare alarm and it does the same thing. i tried to remove the main harness from the unit where the 12V is located and i would hear a very faint alarm sound since the speaker is still connected. but still it is intermittently more not working. what can i do to fix it? thanks.

i dont know if it's in valet mode but if it is, i will try to disable it.. but what i know is by trying to alarm-ON the valet mode should turn-off. thanks.
