i was just wondering if the Audiovox Prestige APS-55LRA is a good alarm/remote starter unit......it is in my price range and i found a good deal on it....(not ebay..dont worry)......any feedback would be nice.....im in arizona and desperately need a remote start

i dont know what is in your price range, and i have a feeling that this alarm may be well out of your range, since it is the top of the line alarm. but, i just installed the viper 791xv in my 4runner and i LOVE it. it has a 2 way lcd remote, alarm, and remote start. it has every option under the sun.

retail is $500 something, but you can get it for probly $300 and change online, which is what i did.

Yea right now that is out of my price range...but thanks for the input...i see that Viper alarm talked about all over the place.....i know its good.....but i found that audiovox for around 100 dollars......ive done research and i havent seen alot of bad reviews on it...so i think its a good choice..........way better than my last disaster of a choice.....Phoenix Digital PD-175....the worst peice of $%$# i have ever seen....dont ever get it
