I have a 800iq clifford alarm system in my car, and the brain got busted, clifford will only fix it with a reciepet, (direct electronic i mean)I lost mine long time ago. so I need to buy the brain alone, anyone knows where can I get it from. the reason i know its broken because every couple of weeks the programming memory gets erased by its self and no remotes work, also when the brain was connected, the car wouldn't turn on with the acutal key, i always have to turn it on with the remote, when i took it out, it works fine. if anybody can help, that would be great.

the only place i know where to get brains is form autotechs, and they dont have it, may give them a call though. im am not familer with that modle (800iq) but if it is made by DEI the wires have not change so may have little or no change of the wireing, so can buy a new alarm and plug it write in, just maybe.

Take it back to the dealer that installed it, they usually have to submit the warranty info and may have it on file.

iskidoo, i don't have the reciepet any more, this alarm was installed in like 1998, the dealer who installed this, sold his shop long time ago, its a dealer down in the states, so i am screwed. I might just buy a new alarm if this don't work.
