Does anyone know what it means when the info says 2 cylinder set for the tach.  Is there some special hook up for this.  I tried it on a 1999 windstar that said this, and had to go tachless because the remote would not pick up the tach signal.posted_image

This means that the tach signal is defaulted for a 2 cylinder tach signal pick up. The Windstar is a 4 cylinder so you will need to program the unit to pick up a 4 cylinder tach signal.

Sorry Jeff Still have no idea what you're talking about.  I don't see anything in the instal. manual about 2/4cylinder tach.
