Hello

I was just curious, I completed a remote start install on a 03 Impala, before I realized it was neccessary to relay isolate the parking light wire to avoid a service engine soon light. Although the light goes out when you turn the ignition switch to the on position with the key,can anyone tell me if there are any problems that might occur in the future. In oter words, is it a neccessity to add the relay to the parking light circut.

                        Thanh -you in advance

yes you MUST use a relay, also use the negitve parking light wire not the postive. and you MUST isolate it.

Thank you swamprat323,

Thank you so much for the fast reply, can you tell me if this will damage the vehicle in any way if I wait to do this. Will the computer log these ses lights to the point where it might stay on even if the key is in the on position.

    Thank-you again
