I have a Valet 561R remote start/keyless entry that came with one 3 button remote (473t). I see I can get a 4 button remote (474t) which is listed as compatible with 561R. However, it looks to me like the lock/unlock function is limited to one button by the receiver of the 561R. So even if I did get the 4 button remote I would still only be able to program just one of the remote buttons to do the lock/unlock( not one to lock and another to unlock as the remote is designed to do). Is my reasoning correct here? If so I looks like I should just get a another 3 button remote.

it dont look liek you can have seperat arm and disarm buttons. look in you install manural.

I did look in the manual and saw that the programming seems to only allow for 1 comboniation button to both lock and unlock. But then again the manual only refers to the 3 button remote. The remote compatibility list list the 4 button remote as compatible so I was hoping there was some way to program the 2 seperate buttons for lock and unlock.

The 4 button will also work.... learn it channel by channel instead of the single button "auto learn" (Ch 1 I believe)
