Hi,

I want to install window roll up / down in my car (1996 Volvo 850).  I have a Compustar 2W900FM-AS, and I want it to roll up the windows when I push the first aux button, and roll down when I push the other aux button.  It is a 4 door, what modules would be best to use to do this?  and how many will I need?  And any other info would be great!

thanks

tim

So I should get two of them?  One for the front windowns and one for the back.  And I can wire it to the aux outputs on the alarm?

Get two of these or get one module to do all 4 up & down. They're epensive, but worth the hassle in the installation portion. You will need to program the AUX channels for continuous or if you want to have the ability to vent the windows you can have the channels programmed for latched.

Thanks.  Do you know of a module that does 4 windows up and down?  And When I set it to latch, I can program the time from 1-99 sec, but it doesn't say how to program the time.

I'm not at the shop right now for my pricing book but I'll look one up for you . As far as the programming you have to time how long it take for the windows to go up and add about 2 seconds to that to ensure that all windows will be up. The internal voltage sensing will automatically cut out the power to the modules anyways, but having the latch output too long is better than not long enough.
