What would a wiring schematic look like to operate 5 wire door actuators when the only way to operate them is with the output of the keyless entry system, which is a negative pulse to lock or unlock? I'm trying to re-wire my OE actuators, which have 5 wires running to them, to work with a keyless entry system, but the diagram here isn't really applicable because the car doesn't have manual switches to operate the power locks.

you have a central locking system. there sgould be a relay/control box soem were.
Are you adding a keyless entry system to your car or what you trying to do.
Waht make modle year of car do you have.

It's a '96 miata with a dealer installed alram with keyless entry that went bad that I'm changing out for something else. This is what the pins on the old alarm module did. Would this mean the relays and such were inside the alarm or somewhere else?

accoriding to the wire guied, you need to add a actuator to the driver door only.
relays are inside the that control box.
are pins 13, 14 ,15, 16, and 18. are they connected to anything.

just add a lock and skip that box. be your best bet.

Yeah, but any wiring diagram for a miata won't include the dealer installed actuators in my car. I took apart that old broken alarm module, and it does indeed have four relays inside which seem to connect to the door lock pins in the connector. Basically I just need to know how to wire it so that a pair of 5 wire actuators will work with a keyless entry system that uses the standard negative pulses for lock and unlock.

does your new keyless have built in relays.or just negtive output. pins 13 and 15 are the common wire for the lock and unlock.

It's a compustar with only negative outputs. It has a negative lock, negative unlock, and 2nd negaive unlock. (I'm guessing for some type of driver's priority, which I don't care about at all.)

at the relay section on this site. use the diragam for adding actuators. Need 2 SPDT relays.
HERE
use pins 13 and 15

Yeah, I just had a close look at the actuators, and reguardless of what the other three wires do, they're chopped off inches away from the actuator, leaving only two to actually be in use, so I can probably simplify things and just wire them up as two wire reverse polarity actuators. BTW, when wiring actuators like this, where would I get the 12v source that diagram shows?

go to the igntion switch.
