Hey i was wondering if anyone has done window mods on a 2004 vw r34 or golf in general. I was wondering if anyone would know the colors of the wires need to do the window install and type of window system they are.  Any help would be great. Just trying to make the install as painless as possible =) Thanks

i think that the golf has total closure i've seen a couple with it standard. so you might not need mods i'll look now

yeh this car should have come with it standard it wouldnt have been done by an aftermarket unit and it does work by extending the lock and unlock pulses for up and down and it has total closure

the lock wire should be yelow/blue

unlock wire GREEN/ red     these are neg polarity

these wires should be the same these are for a 2001 model check all wiring with multimeter first as they could be different good luck let me know how it goes

it is recomended that you use a spare ouput to do this from your alarm and not  the negative when armed wire so that you can choose where you want the windows aswell you will need to use a relay if you do use a spare output from the alarm

you may need more time then the what the door locks give out. if that is the case you a pulse timer 528T.

that is why you extend it by using an extra ouput just hold the buttton to desired position

but if he dont want use an extra ch and/or wants the windows to roll all the way up when he arms the car a pluse timer works also, that if the 3 sec lock not long enough.
