I hope somebody can help. 99 silverado, installed a dei alarm with the 530t roll up module. Everything works great except the roll up module. I have it properly connected but it will not roll up one of my windows all the way. I tried the dip switches all off for the most current but that only helps a little. My window still only goes up halfway. Tried greasing the regulator for less resistance. Any way around this problem? Is there a module out there that will handle the current? I know with so much resistance on the window the module thinks it is topping out and stops, so I need a higher current module. Thanks for the help.

first try running thicker wire, possibly as big as 12 or 10 gauge, but on a chevy it usually doesn't fix the problem completely.  There are a couple of resisters on the circuit board that need to be removed, and possibly replaced.  Your best bet is to contact DEI or if you go to a local retailer they should be able to give you a print out.  There are a couple of different modifications depending on the manufacture date on the module.
