Okay I have done some research on this... I am installing an aftermarket alarm/remote starter in my 95 mustang with factory keyless entry. I know it uses the 3 wire negative pulse for the doors. Do I leave the factory keyless entry module intact and just tap into the wires in the kick panels, or do I remove the factory harness and do something else. Also, why are there 3 ignition wires and which one is hot when the car is on etc? I need to wire 2 different ones I don't know which or what to do. Thanks guys, I really can't afford to take this to a shop lol.

Yes......tap into Factory Lock / Unlock wires
NO.......Do NOT remove Factory RKE
Not knowing the Brand & Model RS/Alarm U R installing, U may need a couple of SPDT RELAYS for your Ignition hook-up also

Ignition Switch Layout: Ignition #1- TAN/WHT.............Powers Ignition Coil (Primary Ignition)
Ignition #2- GRY/YEL.............Powers Blower Motor(2) *
Ignition #3- GRY/YEL.............Powers Trans. Control *
Ignition #4- BLK/L GRN...........Powers Heat-A/C Controls *
2 Of These 3 GRY/YEL Wires Are One Circuit

I am insatlling a crime stopper CS-2016FM Deluxe 2-WAY Fm Paging Alarm and Remote Start Combo System.
I didn't think I needed a relay for remote starting, all I did was splice into the starter wire, WHITE/ pink, and ignition BLACK/ grn. I didn't have to use relays. i THINK. Do i need to touch the grry/yel wires? I didn't.

To prevent "Check Engine" Light or ERROR codes, U need to Power up ALL Ignition Wires.  If U want the AC / Heater to work that also needs to be powered up.
I believe U only have 2 Ignition ( Ign 1 & 2 ) wires coming from your CS-2016FM .
U will need 1 or 2 Relays, depending on which other wires U need powered up

Thanks mo12v. I can't get the AC blowing. I guess I need a relay. Right now I am only hooked up to one of the gry / YELLOW wires is that alright?

So I bought a relay, I have no idea what to do! Isn't a relay like a switch?

Okay, sorry for all the posts but I need to get this working. Everything works except the A/C. I think its because I don't have a valid tach input. Can anyone give suggestions/verify this?

Thanks, I just have one more question about that. My A/C still doesn't work, everything else does.

So I have a pink wire going to my Ignition 1, which is Tan/white.
Then there is ignition 2 or acc 2 thats pink/white going to my Ignition 2 which is BLACK/ green.
Then theres a gray wire going to my ACC/AC going to one gray wire out of 2 gray wires that are there.
From what I am seeing you want me to connect 85 to my black /green wire as well as getting that back to the alarm (gray wire).
Am I way off? Can you tell me what goes to what? Thanks so much.

Ignition Switch Layout: Ignition #1- TAN/WHT.............Powers Ignition Coil (Primary Ignition)
Ignition #2- GRY/YEL.............Powers Blower Motor(2) *
Ignition #3- GRY/YEL.............Powers Trans. Control *
Ignition #4- BLK/L GRN...........Powers Heat-A/C Controls *
2 Of These 3 GRY/YEL Wires Are One Circuit

From your RS/Alarm:

#1- TAN/WHT = PINK from RS/Alarm
#2- GRY/YEL = PINK/White from RS/Alarm

RELAY1:
PIN 87 = YELLOW @ Ignition Switch + Constant
PIN 87a = xx
PIN 30 = GRAY / YELLOW @ Ignition Switch
PIN 85 = Negative while Running from RS/Alarm
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

RELAY2:
PIN 87 = YELLOW @ Ignition Switch + Constant
PIN 87a = xx
PIN 30 = BLACK/ Green @ Ignition Switch
PIN 85 = Negative while Running from RS/Alarm
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )
