I have a '99 Grand Prix GTP that I had a design tech add-on remote starter installed in (20022). The guy installed it incorrectly, and I need to know which wire to trigger the starter off of. Right now, it is triggering off of a wire that pulses when any button on the keyfob is hit twice. So if I hit any button twice in three seconds, it will start the car. One problem is, when I hit the lock button once while the doors are shut, I get two pulses on this wire, and the car starts. So, I'm assuming he hooked the trigger up to the wrong wire. Which wire should I hook the trigger up to??? I want the car to start when I hit a certain button twice...the lock button, maybe. Also, if you know which wire it is, please tell me where to locate it. Thanks for any help!

no thats usually right but what you have to do is step up the pulse activation input in programming or for dip switches if this does not work than this alarm is not good for you.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
