Hey guys,
Im trying to get this system working in my truck. Its a 1995 ford f 350 diesel. I have everything working except the remote starter. I cannot seem to find the tach wire. The bulldog security site says its a WHITE/ pink wire coming from the pcm. I found this wire but im not sure if its the right one. I cannot get the tach tought to the system. Will the tach wire show anything on my multimeter?

Thanks alot for the respones. Then that wire is definetly not the tach wire as it doesnt show any voltage. The wire diagram says the tach wire is a pink wire located near the idm. Ill try and hunt that one down.

Thanks again

Hey guys. I got the remote start to start the truck and keep it running. My only problem now is the ac doesnt work with the remote start. The accessory wire in my truck is grey / YELLOW. I ahve three grey / YELLOW wires. I tapped into two of them with my two acc wires. What about the third? Can I simply splice it into my second acc?

Another problem im having is with my power door locks. I have a 5 wire reverse polarity system. I tied them in with 2 5 pin double throw relays and they dont operate with the remote. I got the diagram from an installer and im certain i wired them exactly as his diagram shows. What could be the problem with that?

Thanks

Alright, I was wondering what that other harness was for. As far as the door lock wires, yes they are the correct wires. I tested them with a multimeter.

Yes. When I cut the wires the locks did not work. When I had had everything wired up through the relays the lock would work from the switches. When I hit the remote the relays would click but nothing would happen. I check the connections again, and they are right. What are the chances both relays are broken?

set your meter to read continuity. put one lead to pin 30 and other to 87a, the meter should beep. after that, test pins 30 and 87, but ground pin 86, meter should beep . if you remove ground form pin 86 meter will stop beeping.

Well, one of the relays didnt beep. Would that cause the doors to both not unlock and lock? Also, I need a good source on the web to buy a new relay, I local guy charged me 25 bucks a piece for these things..
