ok, got the kick panel out and i found the GREEN/ red wire. but how do i wire into it to make my keyless entry work? i understand that it grounds out the 12v source to unlock it but i wasnt sure how to wire this. do i end up w/ 2 wires attached to it or do i end up w/ one wire attached to the GREEN/ red wire? i also have a BROWN / black wire that is also connected to the lock. lmk what you guys think. thanks alot for the help. btw i wasnt sure what forum to post under so i also posted under wiring diagrams. sry bout that. -robert |

btw whenever i do it like the manual says it always unlocks the door. there is no locking at all. and the unlock button does not activate anything with the car. the lock button unlocks the locks when i hook it up like the diagram says. i have the 2 wire system, where only one wire controls both or something like that

Power Lock | lt GREEN/ red | - | module high in driver kick | Notes: This is a one wire system, must use relays. Lock requires negative trigger through a 1.5K resistor, Unlock requires a negative trigger to the same wire. | Power Unlock | same wire |
you need two relays and a resistence of 1.5K or use one relay like that 86 12v fused 85 (-) lock fron alarm 87 resistence 1.5K negative 87a (-) unlock from alarm 30 goes to light GREEN/ red on the car. ------------- how own your mind, control your life.
MECP certified. always use a DMM

ok. it does not lock. do i need to use 2 relays? if so i was reading on how to do it but it says i need to connect all the outputs to the same wire. will i have 2 wires going to the GREEN/ red wire? or will i have one to the red green and one to the BROWN / black? do i need 2 relays? lmk thanks.

ok i got it. but with the relays do i attach both 30s to the same GREEN/ red wire? or do i bind both together and run it to the GREEN/ red wire? and i run the 1.5k in the lock output line before it hits the GREEN/ red wire? lmk thanks.

Yes both Lock & Unlock wires from Relays go together and hook to Vehicles GREEN / Red wire 2 SPDT RELAYS: LOCK: Relay 1 PIN 87 = Ground PIN 30 = 2.2 or 1.5 ohm Resistor to Vehicles GREEN / Red wire PIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from Unit PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + ) UNLOCK: Relay 2 PIN 87 = Ground PIN 30 = to Vehicles GREEN / Red wire PIN 85 = Negative UNLock Output from Unit PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + ) ------------- MO
