i'm going to install a clifford rsx 3.5 into my 2005 nissan titan.
can you guys tell me the advantages or disadvantages of using the 5wi connections to the lock motor wires at the BCM module or the lock/unlock wires located in the door?

the diferents is that you can use the 5wi, but U still have to go into the door for factory disarm, so it is easy to get both wires inside the door for locks and factory disarm

Actually it takes just about as long to do a 5 wire as it does to run your Lock / Unlock into doors.
Titan requires a Double Pulse UNLock for it to DISARM & Unlock.
Plus if you are not that familiar with Relays, doors would be better

mo12v - i'm familiar with relays.
the clifford has that little relay pack so i might as well use it. i think i'll do the 5wi for the door motors at the BCM and then just run that single wire for factory disarm into the door.

Go over to the foruma at carsound.com and do a search for "nissan bcm" and you will find my doorlock trick. No need to run wires into the door, or use relays.
