I have a '93 MX6 with a Chapman alarm and would like to add a keyless entry.  How would I wire it to the system and which brand(s) should I avoid??  Thanks, dazed

The alarm should have lock/unlock outputs on it already. Check your installation diagram for two wires that are marked unlock/lock. You will need to attach them to a couple of relays and add an actuator on the driver's side only. You will need to wire it in like this diagram shows: https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp

My brother has an MX6, the highest fully loaded on. His passenger side already has power locks because if you unlock the drivers side the passenger side will unlock to. He had to figure out how to mount an actuator in the drivers side. Not sure if he ever even got it to work or not.
