Hi There,
In short terms I'm installing a remote start alarm in a Astro Van '92.
Everything is ok, all wires connected and it start fine by remote. The thing is that when I connect the "Aircon/electronic gaugedash" wire to the alarm, it won't remote start. The alarm, by the way Royaltek ht800, turns on the ignition for just a second and then aborts. It is like it gets an error or somehow thinks that the ignitionkey is in and turned or something.
I've tried to have only the aircon wire (ORANGE) connected to the alarm and no other wires from the ignition lock and it still does the same.
I've tried putting a relay in between the alarm and the aircon wire to see if the reason was overloading the alarm, no difference. I've also tried connecting this to the different ignition outputs on the alarm, (acc, ign, on...)
Anyone who knows if i'm totally off-track or some hints would be appreciated very much.
Thanks - Mads Poulsen
