Hi everybody,

I just want to ask about Audiovox APS-996a transmitter. How long your battery works with this device? I'm sick of this - the battery works for 5-6 days and then it goes empty.

some thing wrong with remote on my remote it take about 3 month

Something is probably wrong with your remote. I get 3-6 months easily, even if I use the car often.

Are you using alkaline batteries? Heavy duty batteries aren't very good.

I just don't know how ti fix it. Transmitter hasn't any bolts to remove so I can't look inside :(

I'd bnuy a new transmitter, but it costs lots of money
